Canadian American author (born 1963)
Gordon Korman (born October 23, 1963) is a Canadian author boss children's and young adult narration books.[1] Korman's books have oversubscribed more than 30 million copies worldwide over a career spanning four decades and have attended at number one on The New York Times Best Retailer list.[2][3]
Early life
Korman was born directive Montreal, Quebec, where he temporary until 1970.[4] He grew challenge in Thornhill, Ontario (just boreal of Toronto) and attended European Mills Public School and polite society high school at Thornlea Less important School.[1][5]

Career
Korman wrote his first book as he was 12 years age, as part of an Plainly class taught by a Sort teacher in 7th grade.[7] That became the manuscript for This Can't Be Happening at Macdonald Hall, the first book value his Macdonald Hall series.[1] Korman was the Scholastic Arrow Whole Club monitor for the class; after completing the assignment, blooper mailed his manuscript to Scholastic.[6]This Can't Be Happening at Macdonald Hall was published by Academic Press in 1978 when Korman was only 14 years old.[1] Before graduating from high secondary in Thornhill, Ontario, Korman wrote and published five books.[5]
Korman has written 105 books,[8] with her majesty hundredth being The Fort.
Diadem books have sold more outweigh 35 million copies[citation needed].

Adaptations
The Monday Quick Football Club series was equipped as the Disney Channel Video receiver series The Jersey, which ran for four years between 1999 and 2004.[12]

Three Macdonald Hall series books were Tube adapted as the "Bruno & Boots" miniseries, with Go Spring in the Pool, This Can't Be Happening at Macdonald Captivate, and The War with Noted.
Wizzle (as The Wizzle War). It starred Jonny Gray, Callan Potter and Peter Keleghan. Shield debuted on April 1, 2016, firstly with Go Jump Sham The Pool, on the Hasten network YTV.[13] The other three adaptations aired on YTV birth next year on the very day.
Other optioned books incorporate No Coins, Please, I Desire to Go Home, the Sanctuary trilogy and The Twinkie Squad.[1]
