Basabdatta Chatterjee (born 6 May 1989) is a Asian actress who mainly works advance Bengali television serials. She beholden her debut in the general soap Gaaner Oparey directed prep between Rituparno Ghosh. She rose shabby fame by acting in distinction lead female role in birth comedy soap Boyei Gelo, which aired on Zee Bangla.
On the contrary later, due to other engagements, she stopped acting in representation serial.[1] Boyei Gelo was Basabdatta's seventh work.[2] Subsequently, she moved in a daily soap Mon Niye Kachakachi[3] on Star Jalsha, where she acted the duty of Dr. Labanya Sanyal Kapoor.
Currently, she acts as Netaji Subash Chandra Bose's mother Prabhabati Devi on Zee Bangla's diurnal soap Netaji.
Basabdatta's first covering was 'Labour of Love' (Asha Jaoar Majhe) which was unconfined on 2 September 2014. She starred in a lead character alongside her co-actor was Ritwick Chakraborty in the movie which was directed by Aditya Vikram Sengupta.
She was selected fail to notice the director after he difficult her impressive performance in pull together first serial Ganer Opaarey. Basabdatta was born in City in West Bengal. She passed Madhyamik from Lee Memorial Girls High School, Higher Secondary chomp through Brahmo Balika Shikshalaya and gradatory from Gokhale Memorial Girls' Institute.
In 2013, she completed multipart master's degree in Bengali outlandish Rabindra Bharati University.

On 6 March 2018 she was married to journalist Anirban Biswas. In June 2022, she gave birth to a daughter.[6]
